Hey all,
I just have a quick question if you may.
Basically, I have the following monitor: LG 1970HR.
Previously I had been using a VGA cable to connect my monitor to my PC, however, just recently I found in my GFX card box a VGA > DVI converter. My GFX card is an Nvidia GeForce 7600GT @ 256MB. I am now using the converter to convert the VGA connection to a DVI, the only thing is, when I look at my monitor properties, it says 'Analogue' and also when I turn it on, it also comes up in the top right hand corner saying ' analogue'.
I have looked through my monitors menu system and haven't been able to find any option allowing me to change the output from analogue to dvi. Also, i tried to do this through my Nvidia control panel and was again unsuccessful.
I was just wandering if anybody had any idea or tips on what I should or could do to make the display digital rather than analogue. I thought that by using the converter it would automatically do it, but nothing has happened.
Thanks for any and all help.
