MSI Geforce fx 5950 ultra problems!!

My card has been pretty good for a while now, it bought it in Janurary. I had it overclocked a little, far less than what any benchmark testing website like pcstats.com would overclock it. i only had it over clocked using coolbits' and the 2D to 3D performance tab. thats it. Now, i've been playing rainbow six 3, and I get slowdown on 1024X768 and i see some artifacts like bits of static/snow. the temperature reads at around 63-66 Celcius. Is it time for a new card already??? So far i've tried underclocking it lol if thats possible. using the same coolbits. i took down the core clock to 250 aand the memory to 700 FAR below the defaults of 475 and 900. please help!! :eek:

P.S. It has happened with Hitman contracts as well, only thing thats not an issue is old games like counter strike diablo lol.

I had two of my cards die not too long ago and artifacts are a pretty good symptom of what happens when it's clocked too high. But when it does it even at default speed, it is not good at all.

Of course it might be a driver issue so you can try and reinstall the chipset and video drivers.
