Just curious if anyone else is having some image persistence with the Nec 20WMGX2 monitor line. Basically, an image remains in the display's background after I minimize or close a window, and this will occur only after 15-30 minutes (not hours or days for typical "burn-in" effect), and it typically goes away after the same amount of time. Nec tech support were not too helpful, and I ended up doing an RMA, but sadly the new monitor does it as well. I am curious if others experience this, but at least I don't have the bad backlight bleed as some have complained about with this model. I just have to do some extra steps now (screen saver, sleep mode, turn off regularly, etc.) What's odd is that I have owned countless CRT's and LCD's and have never had this problem.
Added note: If you own this model, try using a colored background (green, blue, etc., but not white), and then leave an application window open full screen for 30 minutes or so, then minimize it; you might see a residual image imprinted in the background...let me know if you do.
