If you can get it on a wireless network, you could then use a laptop also connected to the wireless to 'remote control' the PC using software such as RealVNC. Check it out as there may even be a network (wired or otherwise) already in place. - if there isn't don't stress nowadays you could simply use two network plug adapters (that run a network across the existing power line infrastructure) - thus meaning ultra simple install & removal for when you leave Australia supplier here: PHDsites - Network Also worth checking that the projector hasn't already been hooked up for remote connection from down in the seating - all the lecture theatres/auditoriums in my university were - the connectors were usually hiding underneath a metal plate in the floor! Other than that if you were thinking of using an infa-red remote or alike, you'd need to get some IRDA repeaters and wire them in.
