Net governance debate intensifies

Has anyone read "Who Controls the Internet? Illusions of a Borderless World" by Jack Goldsmith and Tim Wu? Well, in 2006, 2 Law professors, assessed the struggle to control the Internet. Ok, maybe not the Internet, only it's infrastructure. Pretty much the same thing. When the Internet appeared, people thought it would erase national borders, give rise to communal societies that invented their own rules, undermine the power of governments. Who would allow that?
