That was a typo I meant to say ICH8R, or ICH8. Both have dropped the PATA, added 2 more SATA connections (total of 6) and I believe 2 more USB ports (total of 10).

Everything is transitioning to SATA. Floppy disks, DVD/CD drives, and hard drives already have. And rightly so, SATA is faster and not to mention the jacks are smaller and easier to work with. So not only is it a better technology, it has got better aesthetic value

But yeah, I saw the Lian Li line and spoke with a Tiger Direct representative. Lian Li and Plexor (spelling?) are the only ones that they carry that have the silver and the Plex. ones run expensive. Plus Plex. is one of the few that has SATA connections for them as well, but they run like $125.
