If you're not quite ready to jump to A64 yet, but still want a good base to start off with, the nForce 2 is probably your best bet. PC Perspective runs 4 popular nF2 boards through the gauntlet. Given the variation in these four products, it is hard to give a definitive recommendation. Instead it will all depend on what you need and how you like to get your computing done. We strongly suggest researching warranty, layout, price, stability, and goodies when considering what board to buy. But in the end, any of these motherboards will make great additions to a budget computer system. Asus, DFI, and Epox get run through the wringer.
