hows it going? good i hope! me and my girlfriend moved in together a couple of days ago, and i had to box up most of my old conslols, and put them in her loft ( sega saturn, atari woody, nes, snes, gb,megadrive etc etc)with exception to my n64! i had just enough room to keep my n64 and a select few games! the games a chose to not to send to the loft were, Mario cart 64, Goldeneye, perfect dark, Zelda Ocarina of Time and Donkeykong 64. Had a quick go on mario cart last night....how good is that game!! the graphics are no good by modern comparison, but i can remember when they were cutting edge graphics, but the thing that is still there is the great gameplay! And i cant wait to start ocarina of time again! i remember reading about its development progress for nearly 2 years, and when it came out i loved it, its most definetly one of my favorite gaming memories, but part of me does'nt want to play it again, just in case it does not live up to the hype it once had! So what i suggest to everyone, is to have a go on an old favorite, and let the memories flood back................................... When you have, post a reply and let everyone else know your all time favorite gaming moment/game.. Mine is **********************Zelda: Ocarina Of Time*******************
My all time favourite game is Streets Of Rage 2 on the Sega Megadrive. It's an instant classic with addictive gameplay. I still play it to this day on my PC using Gens Plus.
[ot] It's good to see you own a Sega Saturn! In my opinion, the most underrated console ever! I'd like to see the Playstation handle Panzar Dragoon Saga. The worst thing that could have happened to the video games industry was to lose Sega as a console manufacturer. I completely lost interest after the Dreamcast! [/ot]
Loved it, and Metroid Prime 2. I'm a huge Metroid fan, I just can't wait until they finally bring out First Hunt for the DS.
I loved Super Smash Bro's on the 64, great party game. I've heard it's still a big deal frat party game at college too which is awesome.
Agreed! I was addicted to that game as soon as I got it. i was really impressed in the way they made it better with the cube. Its just a game that you can play over and over again.
I used to take part in SSB tournies locally around here when it was popular. I stil have the game. I'm thinking about doing a hand-held n64 project soon (like tomorrow) because I'll have some cash I just need a new console.
