Hi
I have a perfectly OK server which I'd like to use for our intranet & other internal work. It used to be the domain controller for our old system. I'd ideally like to keep some of the data thats on the disk. However if I have to rebuild then so be it. The OS is Windows 2000 Server. The other servers in our current domain are Windows 2003 server running an AD environment.
What I'd like to do is make this older server just like any ordinary server visible on the network. I'd like to remove it's old role of domain controller before I make any attempt to connect it to the current domain. Trouble is I'm not sure how I would do that - any pointers would be welcome.
