Palit???

Palit Nvidia GeForce 7600GT 256MB 128bit PCI-E Graphics Card

I dont know if you saw the question marks there but this sucker is selling for the same price as an asus 7600gs. this begs the question: how are they so cheap?

Is price an indicator of quality and how much so because this seems just too cheap to perform like any other 7600gt. Who has heard of Palit and if so do they have a bad reputation?

I could be wrong, but I thought that Palit became XFX...not sure. In any case, Palit brand cards have typically been pretty barren, but then, that's how they save money. Secondly, they're a 'generic' brand, unlike Asus, so it would be less enticing if they charged more. These days, companies generally use the same card design, especially the more generic ones...which also cuts down on cost.`
