Password

hi guys new to the forum so hi to all but i need some advice;;;

im recyling my old elonex laptop but cant remember the password is there some way of of resetting it oh lost the reset disc too :dry:

or easier to buy a new hard drive thanks
 
^i think it's safe to say the windows password...lol.

anyway, as a result of being a moderator on several sites i have seen a lot of threads like this, all about reseting passwords (I am sure some mods on this forum will agree, that the computer u are trying to reset the password could indeed not be yours) , i will not tell you the answer, but there are easy ways of doing it. If u are comited to doing this it shouldn't be to hard to find on google.

If you're recycling the laptop it's best to remove the HDD you used incase any personal data can be recovered by the next user.

I think I have guided someone through resetting their password on this forum before, I never thought for one minute it might be their computer :D How stupid of me!
 
luckily were not all dishonest gonna reload xp at least i will be able to use some of the hd space.
