Ok here is my configuration to start with: IBM A30 1Ghz Laptop 512 MB RAM 16MB ATI graphics 30 and 20GB HDD's Windows XP SP2 When I plug a PCMCIA card into the laptop nothing happens. Windows XP doesnt pick up any new hardware and the device manager doesnt show any new devices before or after scanning for new hardware. Windows device manager is reporting that the PC card controler and slots are working fine but no matter what kind of PC card i put in there it doesnt detect anything. Any suggestions?
