I have just decided to upgrade my ancient nvidia Ti4200 card and so have purchased a second hand Club ATI Radeon X800XT platinum edition card fitted with an Artic cooler. I am aware that it needs a secondary power supply, but does it need 2, one for the fan and one for the card. There are two connectors on the board, a large purple one which I understand to be a Molex and a smaller yellow connector which is also 4 pin as is the Molex. I have a spare Molex from the power supply, but nothing small enough to match up with the smaller connector. I have bought the card without the manual or driver disc. Can anyone help?
