I am putting together a new PC and ran across the Powmax 500W, w/ the aluminum casing. I have tried to find some reviews on it, or for that matter Powmax and haven't been able to find much of anything of power supplies at all. Any one have any input here?

I plan on either the shuttle ak31 or gt35 /boards, one hd, cdrw, vcard, scard, fdd and maybe a dvd. As far as processor, I'm thinking 1800 or 1900. I know the 500W is overkill, but I like to grow my PC's and like to have a solid PS and good air flowing case to work in. Thanks in advance...

I've heard the name and not much else. The combined power should be on the sticker that's on the unit somewhere. I would imagine that 500W, even if it's not the creme de la creme like Antec, would still be more than adequate. It also saves you from buying a PSU. If you find out it really sucks, you can get something else.
