Problem with external disk

Hi there, i purchased the PackardBell Save and Store 3500 (320Gb), but im having problems, i connect it to the PC and the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon appears, but i cant access to it. The disk is shown in the Device Manager (DiskDrives and on the Universal Serial Bus controllers -> USB Mass Storage Device) , but it doesnt exists on the Disk Management ("computer manager"; run->diskmgmt.ms)

I dont know what to do...

right, is there a small yellow triangle over the device in device manager ?, also are there any errors visible in the event viewer ?[ot]presumably as you can't see the drive in disk management, it hasn't being formated[/ot]

Which OS u hv got in ur PC??

Even in ur Disk Mgt... R you sure that there is nothing on the right hand side bottom?? No unallocated space??
