yeh sorry to disappoint guys but its 4000 not 400. it's what he says he gets, and another mate with a X800 256mb gets around 3500 in mohaa. i asked them if they were exagerating and they said they werent, went on for a while bout how godly this card is.

The settings I used for the first test run were... no AA and no AF enabled with slider set to High Performance, 1600x1200 resolution, all in game graphics settings set to High/Highest/Max(as high as each would go).
How I tested: Opened the game, started a new game on medium difficulty, skipped the briefing, and loaded the level. I used FRAPS as my frames per second counter.
My results for the first level of the game...
I noticed framed in the beginning of the level in the upper 80's-90's. They began to dip as the level progressed down to the high 50's-60's. During action, the frame rates dipped as low as ~33FPS.
The settings I used for the second test run were... 2xQ AA and 4x AF enabled with slider set to Quality, 1600x1200 resolution, all in game graphics settings set to High/Highest/Max(as high as each would go).
I ran this test the same exact way as I did the first.
I noticed frame rates in the high 70's-low 100's at first. They dipped down to around the high 50's low 60's during the first couple seconds of game-play. I noticed frame rates in the mid 30's at one time during heavy action but only for a few seconds and then they picked up again. These settings felt smoother and faster than the first test....weird.
So IMO, after my testing, your friend is bs. No offense to anyone I dont want to start a flaming war but MOH:AA afterall is an EA game and most EA games have the "Nvidia: The Way Its Meant To Be Played" seal on them.

Why are you amazed at the raptor's RPM ratings? SCSI drives do 15K if Im not mistaken. The only difference is the type of interface the drives use, i.e. the cables

lol, sorry wld have posted but ive been 2 busy with my new card! (arrived yesterday!)
installed it along side mohaa, i dont get anywhere near that amount fps wise.. (4000) LOL, i actually believed him, sorry for being a fool! i get 100fps constant in mohaa with full graphics.. but i don't know how to measure past that.. :/
it's a great card though, plays everything in: farcry / need for speed / hitman contracts all in full at lightning speeds.. can't wait for HL2 and DOOM3!!
(also i've heard from peeps on net that my card can be modded to a X800 XT PE?

well i dunno, i just installed the card, unless its already turned on then no..
also just to ask.. my monitor runs @ 1152x862 or something @ 85hz, problem is all my games will now go no higher than 85fps.. i know this is a problem supposedely with all monitors that ur hz limits ur fps, but when i was running @ 75hz i could get any fps.. ingames. However.. i then changed my monitor hz back to 75hz and it then limits it to 75fps... for the life of me i can't figure out why..
(when i get home i will test card with AA and AF)
