Currently I am trying to get the display to either:
a) be only on one screen (the TV) with S-video
or b) to get it to be main screened on the TV and secondary on a moniter.

I have a radeon 1600x video card that they're both plugged into.
Whenever I try to run on solely S-video, it goes up onto the screen in black and white, and is flickering very badly as if it is going up quickly but not quick enough. I.e. seeing double with one layer on top of another flashing back and forth.
If I try to run it on my moniter and through the s-video, I get a black screen, and my computer doesn't recognize anything in there.
If I plug the s-video in and then the moniter later, it switchs from the black and white flickering thing, to the moniter being the only thing working.
Please help.
