I suppose this is a dumb question, but i need to be clear on this. I used to have a Samsung DDR SDRAM 256MB (I bought it way back in 2001 I can;t remember if its PC2100, or any other). Now i got myself another chip Samsung 512MB PC3200 CAS3.0 - I put them together and it works, I have 768MB in total. So chips are of same Vendor, but different capacities and frequencies -> is this likely to cause me any problems?
no they'll work fine. Just *don't* try and dual channel them. That won't work. Obviously pairs are better but its all good.
