I have a Q6600 being cooled with an Asus V72 92mm CPU Cooler.
Its pretty darn loud and my idle temps are 39C-40C. During games its about 49C-50C. I would like to overclock in the future but for now i'd like something that would keep me in the 29C-30C range, idle, of course.

Any good, copper heatsinks with low fan noise anyone can recommend?

I would recommend Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme copper heatsink with a 120mm fan attached to it, I don't think anythin on the current market beats this heatsink otherthan watercooling. I own the original Thermalright Ultra 120a and gotta say it has Idle temp on q6600 of 35C overclocked at 3ghz. Using the full copper version I would be expecting to see temps of around 30C Idle. which is extrmely close to watercooling. has a $110 price tag but I would say worth every penny.
