Safe laptop temps?

I am getting a little concerned about my old P2 class laptop. The temperature on the outside is HOT! It's not too hot to touch, but it's still of concern.
The laptop run Xubuntu, so doesn't suffer from the continuous disk activity that Windows computers do. I've installed and configured Lm-sensors to monitor the temps because the BIOS doesn't show them. The readings are:

Board:       +62°C  (low  =   -55°C, high =  +127°C)  
CPU:         +69°C  (low  =    +0°C, high =   +75°C)

The CPU temp is a little worrying! For comparison, if you have a laptop, what are your temp readings?

Both of those temperatures seem reasonable for a P2 class system. Not too much higher though.
Most notebooks run pretty warm due to their pathetic cooling. Also, their tiny vents don't do them much justice either.
For your comparison, my notebook usually hovers around 45*C for the CPU.
Just make sure the vents are clean and it should be OK.

Try cleaning out the fans, and make sure it's not resting on fabrics.
