I am thinking about getting a 10,000 RPM SATA HDD to put all my programs and operating system (XP) on and save files on my normal HDD - the idea being to try to speed up program load/PC boot times a little.
XP is currently installed on my HDD but as it came installed when I bought the computer, I don't have a disc for it. Does anyone know if or how I can transfer my OS onto a new HDD so I can change the new SATA drive to the master drive in the BIOS?
Thanks.
