sending data into 2 hardware at the same time...

Hi there

I am in a little bit of dilemma, hope you guys can help :)

I am holding a function in 2 weeks time and usually i have a digital camcorder to film it. This is then relayed to two projectors and then broadcast to other areas of the building.

As you probably have guessed, the quality is usually very poor.

I am a bit new to this wireless thing and figured that i might able to use bluetooth or something like that to send data into these projectors...can it be done?

Thanking you guys in anticipation!

What you're talking about would require capturing and digitizing of the image and then rebroadcasting over a network.

how would i able to do that? connecting the camcoder to my laptop.... and how would i able to broadcast it? and how would the projectors recieve the data?

thanks

What I'm saying is that what you want to do is extremely complicated. If you were to do things over a network, the signal would have to be captured, encoded, transmitted, and then reconverted to an analog signal to be played back on your projectors... way overkill. What you really need is a quality signal replicator to pass the single analog video feed to both projectors, amplifying the signal along the way. Much simpler.

what i am doing now is having 2 cables, connected to the digital camcorder via a 2 way splitter. the quality is very poor though... i was just wondering how i could get a better picture, that's all.... :(

Like I said above, "What you really need is a quality signal replicator to pass the single analog video feed to both projectors, amplifying the signal along the way."

Any advice on which signal replicator/booster to get?

Your advice will be gratefully received! thank you!
