This is not a computer question but can anyone help with this problem. Camcorder will not record. Able to view tape with sound but not record. To best of my knowledge it has not been dropped. It is approx 3 yrs old. When in record mode cannot see anything.Will record but just blank. Records over picture in tape but just blank.
I'd try using a cleaning tape to make sure it's not dirty. Outside of that, it could've broke on it's own, and you'd need to contact Sony about repairing it, especially if it's still under warranty.
