I have a Nvidia Geforce 6200 and whenever i am gaming the monitor will turn black for a second and be fine again. It doesnt happen very often. Probably about every 7 minutes for a second if that. Still it would be nice if it wasnt a problem anymore.

I don't know but it may be a temperature issue. It's worth checking. I believe the nVidia drivers have temperature monitoring software.
 
I'd check the drivers first, and also if it only happens in one game try finding the latest patch for it.
