Taking Video Clips from Movies

    How would you go about taking a small clip from a movie that you have on your pc?
    Would also like to know how to take a screenshot/still from a movie too :)

    Wow, matt. Haven't spoken to you in ages.

    My only thought at this time is using "FRAPS", but this may not work with DVDs, I haven't tried it. I know it works for games, so you might get lucky.

    Hi Matt, not sure about video clips but for a screenshot you can play whatever your watching in VLC media player and take snapshots :)
