Text wrangler

Hey! does anyone know of a good alternative to Text Wrangler on Windows? Better yet, a adaptable development environment? I have this specific programming language which has no SDK, just a compiler and I have to programm in a text editor, which is kinda lame...

I've never used it myself, but I have a friend who uses emacs for programming python, which I think can be used as a text editor.

I think E - TextEditor | The power of TextMate on Windows should do what you want, its good alternative for TextMate which is osx only.
