I keep getting this this strange little WYSIWIG message in the bottom left hand corner of the I/E window !!

It reads "WYSIWIG Editor initialized for Internet Explorer for 0.032 secs"
It stays for ages and stops me doing anything.

I know WYSIWIG stands for "what you see is what you get" and I know what that means but what does the message infer?

More to the point, can I over-ride it and if so, how?

Be most grateful for any suggestions.

Instead of trying to troubleshoot the problem, I'd recommend you go to www.mozilla.org and download firefox because in the long run it will give you way less problems. It's way more secure than IE and has tabbed browsing which comes in handy. It also comes with a very handy and almost perfect pop-up blocker.

Did you run virus scan? How about Spysweeper or some other spy remover?

Thanks for the advice! I'll try Firefox and see.
And yes, I have done virus checks etc., also spyware, popup blockers, etc., etc., etc.!!!
    Many thanks!
