TI CardBus vs. Linksys Card

I have a linksys wpc54g ver5 wireless card, and my toughbook has a TI PCI 1450 Cardbus Controller. i have tried to install the drivers that came with the card, but all the card does is blink and not connect with the router. The router and the internet connection to the router are fine, and the wireless card is fine as well. The laptop it is in is a panasonic toughbook running Windows 2k SP4.

Any Ideas?
 
Go into device manager and see if there is a warnging next to the wifi card.

If there are no problems there, what is the specific connection problems you're having. Does the card detect the network but not connect, or does it not detect the network at all?
 
Sorry i posted this when i had no clue why it wasnt working.

One call to linksys support center, and about an hour later I (AMAZINGLY!!!) had the problem solved.

Thanks anyways though.
