too good to be true?

I got the same thing. Definitely dodgy, since Adobe has a minimum their software must sell at, and that software is below it. I know web site design isn't everything, but the fact that the left hand menu side bar is twice as long as every other part of the website makes it unlikely it is a reputable company (someone in another forum pointed this out to me, not sure how accurate it is).

And finally, from their FAQs:
Why is the software so inexpensive?
We offer the software for downloading only, it means that you do not receive a fancy package, a printed manual and license that actually aggregate the largest part of the retail price. In this situation we are restricted in selling the products for private purposes only! You will not be able to get a technical support and different rebates from the manufacturer. Updates are available for the most of our products (you may ask our support staff for the exceptions) that make them fully functional and operating. Additionally you save the delivery cost.

No liscense? That's a problem.

The site seems legitimate as in they'll sell you the products, but they seem to be pirated as it says in the terms and condition that you can never register the product with the manufacturer. These items seem "hot" as in pirated as hell lol. It's not "too good to be true" in a sense b/c i don't think they won't allow you to download it, so its more "too good to be legal" so just stay away from this tempting offer.

on a side note, manufacturers should look at these websites and realize their software is EXPENSIVE as hell, damn give us college students a break! Good thing there's freeware out there, otherwise we'd all be spending big bucks on simple word processing.

I agree. And then there was Linux. And she used Linux. And she saw that it was good. :ff:
