All i can say is you've got a really nice pc :good: I don't have a 3400+ (754Pin 64Bit) I have a 3200+ (939Pin 64Bit) (2.0Ghz Stock).

I presume those screenies you took were of how much data your cpu can transfer per second..? (read and write)

Out of curiosity it would be nice to know whether it's your memory.. or the amount of the FSB your running at.. or because im not running dual channel, or what is different from your pc to mine technology wise that is giving you this incredible increase in performance compared to my AMD64..

I'll look into it, rather interesting really :good:

And i just noticed OMG you have 2GB of memory :O LOL thats alot

Yes, I think it was reading/writing, if that's what the benchmarking did in that program.

FSB is 800Mhz I believe, a standard, stock prescott.

And 2gigs of pc3200 ddr400 RAM dual chanelled...sweet huh? :D

yep :good:

I just benchmarked mine

Not bad considering im not running Dual Channel :) (thats at stock)

Some time soon i'm going to order as much memory as i can and as fast as i can get it :) as 512MB is not enough, for what i use / run on the pc

Is yours only 512? That could possibly be the cause of my success :D

Post back when you have some more!

l have just down loaded aida32 enterprise and l now have pages and pages of info about my computer, so how do l get it all to you  thats if you would like to tell me if l need to upgrade

Take a screenshot with "Print Screen" on your keyboard of the page(s) that tell us stuff about CPU, motherboard, RAM, graphics and hard disk. Then paste it in to Paint, and crop of bits you don't need to save file space, like the desktop in the background.

Save it as a *jpg or you won't be allowed to upload.

Then reply to this but "Go Advanced" and hit manage attachments. Attach the screens and then reply.

You can just press alt-print screen to take a screenshot of the active window only. Then you don't need to crop.
