Using aol dial up without the software.

Anyone know how to Use aol dial up without the software. win2k

I really dont know, all i can suggest is getting the number you call to connect and manually set it up (remembering to enter you username and password)

Your best option is to change ISP's, AOL are well know for there bad service, bad support and ******* up your computer when you try to remove ther software.

When your done with your disc send it to theese people :)

HeHe i wouldn't be using aol unless i had to! I'm flat broke right now. :swear:
Thanks for your post, i have already tried connecting not using the software i think i need some init strings or something? Wow 1 million aol cd's!! :O

You can sign on AOL as usual, then minimize the AOL software and use any browser you like once you have the connection.

Thanks for the post, yes I'm aware of that Someone28624, I just don't want to use aols software period! :)
