I put down a little cash to put a mattress set on layaway. I could get it now, but that's one less thing I'll need to move in a few months. I got one of those memory foam sets...basically, it's like those Tempurpedic ones you see advertised everywhere, sans the name and the $500 markup. I got one set that's normally about $1100, but they had it with $200 off, free frame and free delivery. I get all that since I put it on layaway. I put $10 down to hold it, until I get my tax return. It's not that I couldn't plunk down the cash now, but, like I said, I'd rather not have to move that sucker in a few months when I move out of my parents house.

It's firm, but very comfortable. Good, because bad backs run in the family, and I don't want to end up like my dad.

Same here, i found the easiest way to get a comfortable bed is to use 2 (or more!) mattresses on top of each other, if you dont need the space under your bed (and you have 3 or so mattresses) you can remove the planks that normally hold the mattress out, and put the first mattress on the floor, with the second on top, and your bed is at the same height it would be with one mattress!

you have no idea how comfy it is until you try it :)

Funny this thread just came about as my current mattress is starting to pop springs and wherever i lay on the damn thing, i get a spring sticking into my middle back. Even worse is, i can't replace it yet as i have car payments due in a few weeks. Good luck B :good:
