86 Toyota Corolla GT-S with about 273,000 km on the engine still runs great. Hachi-Roku.com is my neighbors website. My ride is in the group pics. The black one on the far right cant miss it.
2006 VW Jetta TDI, spice red, 5 speed...only had it for 3 weeks. Pics to come. Diesels kick the most ass. You can see me on the forums at www.tdiclub.com Zeus, nice bike!
I currently don't have a car, but I'm saving up for one currently. However, I keep seeing these types of cars, have no idea what they're called... This puppet, Fash, is driving the one car I really like. But why does he have to drive like a maniac? Was he trying to impress Veronica Mars or something? I don't get it.
Thanks! Its a shame about the small hole in the exhaust.... Hole I had one day left on the Tax, Insurance and MOT so give it some welly all day long, when I came back into town and stopped at some traffic lights I realised it sounded like a tractor! Goes well faster like this though! If I wasnt a guaranteed pull Id leave it! A lot of people do exactly what has happened to me on purpose on the Bandit. 1 2 Smaller matter of Tax, Insurance, MOT, tyres, rear brake caliper, two front brake discs (£180 each!), brake pads all round and a new exhaust. Im looking at well over £1000. But seeing as my exhaust is knackered maybe its a good time to buy a racing exhaust. The engine is tuned for a decent exhaust so I might as well. High exhaust Or just sell it and buy a Ducati 750 or a Bandit 1200, which I should have got in the first place! The tuned Bandit 1200s give the Hayabusa a good run for their money on a drag strip. Those things accelerate faster than gravity pulls you down. Bungee jumping all day long! Mines not far off though. To 60 it accelerates at about 7.5m/s^2 compared to gravitys 9.81.
flippin' hell. That bike has been sat in the garage for 3 years now. Iven been through 4 vans and am now on a volvo estate since then!(at least its a t4, which will get remapped soon I reckon so good for 250bhp) I must must must get the bike on the road again. Nothing better than the wind in your hair, bugs in your teeth and bruises on your knees!
Well I don't drive but my daughter has a scrappy old Ford Escort at the moment but with being a girly I think she rather fancies one of these................
If this wasn't a slower forum it would be thread resurrection time. My wife would die for that Hummer! Anyway, because I needed a vehicle that was not 2-door, the Z24 needed to move out to pasture. I got a 2004 Impala base with the 3.4L engine. Fits 3 carseats across the back and I can have 2 strollers in the trunk and still have plenty of room for groceries. More recently, I acquired a backup (the Impala had some issues crop up): 94 Ford Explorer. Over 236K miles on the sucker, but I know it will do 3 car seats. I need to replace the wiper motor, but that shouldn't be too bad. My PC's are running pretty well, so I need another hobby.
And three years later, I kicked that GM-built turd to the curb. Coolant system issues cost me too much, and despite my chagrin of having a car payment, I have to say the swap to a 99 Honda Accord is welcomed. I also have felt the VTEC kick in, yo. And the kids car seats fit, so, yeah we're good.
I ditched my Impala over another impending round of coolant system issues and possibly a head gasket. GM's 3400 engine is the devil. I'm much better off with this 1999 Honda Accord I got instead.
