So, why don't you be honest and let the members know what really takes up the most space on your hard drive! With me, it's a combined effort with the prime contenders being Games and Music. 11.7GB and 4.35GB respectively
Ummm, well mainly its games which I own myself and copied onto the HD. Also the odd film which I have produced myself and own all copyrights for. They just happened to be released at the cinema because they were so good. But also I have lots of enterprise software installed, like Visual Studio 2003 and 3dsmax 8 etc all of which I've paid for.
Presently, about 20gigs of videos. I used to have about 40gigs or so of games installed, but I've had no time to play them, so they got uninstalled.
My desktop's HDD is filled primarily with games, although the drive is mostly empty. The vast majority of my files overall are videos, music and Linux ISOs which are stored on my file server. 70.3gb used on a 120gb RAID-1 as of last count.
Games and music. I've got at least 4.5GB of music that I've ripped from my CD collection...and that's not all of them either.
Right now 30.6gb music - 6,047 files 44.1gb movies - 88 files 18.5gb cd images - 36 files Cracks, Installs, Pictures, Files, Documents and anything else - 4.9gb That's just on my 2nd hard drive that I use for storage. 42.1gb used on my primary for windows xp install, games, programs, a few episodes of naruto and bleach plus a few movies waiting to be moved to storage. If you can't tell, I download stuff a lot
It was mostly games for me, not nearly as many as you guys but then again I only have 80GB. PhotoShop stuff takes up a lot too.
