At a certain point you'll have to choose between your health and the need to smoke. Not many people are "strong" enough to quit. I'm only a social smoker, I don't have the need to do it.
True u said RH that at some point you have to take decision for your health but I have seen people who are just addicted to it...They wants to leave this thing but they cant....They feel better spending money on ciggerates then eating food...
I think half the time people underestimate how long it takes to properly get it out of your system. Both myself and friends have quit for a year or so a couple of times but as soon as you have that one for old times sake your buying a 10 deck instead of scavving one from a mate. I dont think smoking should be banned but I dont think the NHS should make a priority of you if you do go in from self inflicted damage like smoking or drinking. Ive no opinion on private healthcare, you pay for your treatment so fairs fair. Banning it in pubs n stuff is great, it will help so many people quit.... sociable smoking will deteriorate. It wont make any difference to me though, i haven't been in a pub for years! Stinkin' places full of stinkin' people round here.
Some countries (like mine) have increased the prices of smokeware to about 60%. That won't help, because if people don't have the money to buy it anymore then they are going to steal it. I've even heard some rumors that you aren't allowed to smoke in some states in the US at any place.
yup, this is true. They have banned smoking in public places, and next semester you can't smoke on campus. I will miss having a smoke when professors are being difficult.
