Any suggestions? I can access my own site from any place on this earth..college, on my PSP, friends house, other people can view it fine...but I cannot access www.wafflesweb.co.uk from this computer. It's very difficult to get technical support from my webhost when there is no foreseeable problem at their end, or any one elses. I can't try restarting my network yet, but I fear that won't help. I would not have added my own website to a blocked sites list. Thanks for any suggestions, because this is perplexing.
It could be filtered specifically or as part of a larger network block by the network your workstation belongs to. I would be willing to provide a secure proxy for you if you like. PM me if you're interested.
Strange..thanks for checking. I've asked a couple of friends to do it on MSN just now, and they accessed it perfectly. AT, I'll give it 24 hours and see if it sorts itself out, but then try that. Thanks.
I've just tried it and it just doesn't load at all, just a blank white screen and FF's progress bar doing nothing...
OK, hopefully it's just a DNS black hole that will sort itself out. Otherwise, I've already tested your site through my secure proxy, works perfectly. It's a little slower due to encryption overhead but it's tolerable.
Hm...I'm glad no one else can, makes me more reassured I don't have a network problem..however I can access it perfectly at college. It's still down for me.
