Will A Amd Fx 6300 Throttle A Msi Radeon R9 280

    Im on a budget and wondering if a AMD FX 6300 will throttle a MSI Radeon r9 280? Can anyone help and if it does throttle suggest a good cpu that isn't as a high price either.

    No, FX-6300 and R9 280 is good pair. Also consider FX-8320.

    FX-8300 is best FX, because it is lowest price eight-core, has not so high TDP (95W) and can be overclocked to 4,2 GHz. It is much better than 6300. Also don't forget to buy good cooler and thermal paste, because FX generates lot of heat.
