Windows 7 Updates Failing Error 800736B3

Hello,

My Windows 7 x64 Home Premium updates are failing with error code 800736B3

I've tried the "Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 x64" and they still fail.

I've tried SFC /SCANNOW and they still fail.

Please Help!!

Perhaps it's time to reinstall Windows.

If you have to use SFC /scannow, then it is time to do a fresh install..

set Windows Update from automatic to 'never update' click apply and then back to 'automatic updating'. does miracles!
