Hey, i recently found this skin for Windows Live Messenger, make it soo much more good looking and neater, easier to see contacts etc...

(you will probs have to save it then zoom in to see it, couldent be bothered getitng rid of one monitor.)

oh, you dont need windows vista for the mod, i would never use windows vista anymore!, that screenshot is of windows xp, click the link that says vista live messenger download, and you can download it, all your doing is replacing a file in the MSN Messenger installation directory.
