    Hi All:

    Just wondering if anyone knew how to access your Win XP serial Code within Regedit? I know that it is accesible, however I am unsure of where to look!

    Many thanks

    Right Click on 'My Computer' and select 'Properties' it is there, under where it says Registered to:
    e.g.
    System:
    <OS>
    <VERSION>
    <SERVICE PACK>

    Registered to:
    <NAME GOES HERE>

    <SERIAL CODE/REGISTRATION CODE HERE>

    Computer:
    <CPU MAKER>
    <CPU MODEL AND SET SPEED>
    <CURRENT CPU SPEED, RAM SIZE>
    EDIT: It's not in regedit but it's a way of getting your Serial Code.

    All that it shows is a series of numbers! I am looking for the lettered serial code? Can this be retrieved in Regedit? and if so how?

    Many thanks

    Just use ViewKeyXP, it's easy to use.
