I think $500 is a fairly low budget, if you want cheaper get a slower cpu, and mabye a cheaper gpu.

hey there again, ive just spent severly hours fixing my computer after i changed some display settings, as the monitor wouldnt show a picture after the windows xp load screen. as im still trying to install a graphics card, pleae help

do you need a new grx card ?

because, safe mode operates at safe working grfx mode which you can undo what you changed, or, remove the grfx drivers & reintall them
