    Considering how horrible XP in Classic mode looks, the amount of memory you save is not large enough to credit doing it - Unless you have under 512mb.

    I run XP Pro & SuSe Linux, and am running Windows Blinds and a nice transparent them and Gnome with transparent windows.

    How did you get rid of "Start" on the Start-up bar?

    Well, what you have to do is have the task bar up like I do on the right (and I assume it works if you have it on the left side) and move it so it only holds 4 quicklaunch buttons. It takes a little bit of fine tuning and depends on your resolution, but you can adjust it so START doesn't show up on the start button.

    There's probably some means of manipulating the OS to do so (I know you could change the start button to say other stuff in Win98), but I don't know how.

    hey anti-trend,

    how'd u get ur system diagnostics and sensor stuff on your desktop? it a linux thing?

    im looking for something like that.. with my cpu tempature on the desktop.
