You can get something called a Widget, which does exactly that. Look for www.stardock.com or www.wincustomize.org or somethin. I believe the program is called Desktop X. Also, www.samurize.com - great link which B gave me a while back.
Well yeah, that's a Linux thing. It's a program called Karamba, and you just build the layout custom in HTML. But, like Waffle already suggested, there are Windows programs which are very similar! -AT
Thank you, much appreciated. If you want hints or someone to design you a sig/wallpaper - post at the Graphics Design Forum. (please! some more posts and stuff would be cool!!)
1280x960 I think (that may be a made up resolution, I'll check when I'm on my PC later). It makes everything look a lot nicer, without screwing up the visibility.
yeh! Not so good yet at makin' things fit...like this thumbnail and my avatar...Sniper actually sized my avatar for me. :good: the pixels get me. trying to get a large image down to under a hundred KB's. I just reduce the image and keep reducing until it fits.
I'll repost my desktop, but really the only thing that's changed is my wallpaper (cycles every 60mins). (Scaled to 800x600 from 1024x768)
-WARNING, NAUGHTY DEAD GUY, AND POORLY NAMED STUFF- http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v478/fetuspuppets/desktop.jpg A few friends were over. One decided to make me a lovely backround!
