We're not a couple, thanks -OR- How's your love life?

Way to go Big B! That's fantastic! See it only took a few months, from people saying are you a couple to them almost being right, great work man. :):good::eek::cool:
 
Yea, great... job??? Is that what you're supposed to say in this situation? Anyways, I have plenty of "We're not a couple, thanks" stories, but don't like to think about them *bad memories*. But over time, I have found, that I like just being solitary (sounds better than single). I don't at least at this point, don't need or want anybody to share my life with.

Join the club B! Great to hear you've got on so well with her already. I've got one ring on and so has my fiance, White gold, very nice look to it. Nice contrast to the LOTR One Ring I wear on my other hand. :P

Sorry to say this but that means neither of them are right for you. If you know someone is right for you, there should be no doubt, no maybe's or 'what if's.

I dated my fiance for about 2 months before getting engaged. Now, I've known her for about a year at work and we hit it off really well. I'm still shocked at how often we think alike. And this is coming from a guy that wasn't exactly a player by any means. Hell, I didn't date anyone for five years before this.

Ok, story time.

I was working at my first job for about 2 weeks before I met my fiance, this was at McDonald's. I remember seeing her name on an Employee of the Month award and thinking it was weird she had the same surname as me (no relation before anyone starts). So I see her at work after my second week when she comes back to work, I was in the kitchen and she was on the tills so I didn't see much of her. At this point I still was with my ex girlfriend who then dumped me 20 minutes before new year 2004. But I soon got transferred to cleaning after being dumped, then me and her got talking a bit more. I found out one weekend that she was handing in her notice and that it was her last weekend, I didn't work Sundays so I knew that Saturday would be the last time I saw her, I had feelings for her, like never before with any other girl. I was on my break just as she was about to go back, so I made up my mind that if I didn't get her number I would never see her again. I built up the courage and asked for her number, she gave it to me and I saved it in my phone.

After that me and her kinda got more connected, started flirting with each other more, nothing major, just gave each other looks and I kept going to her with empty trays for her to keep a hold of when she needed them. The time for me to finish came so I got my things and left, saying bye to her.

I had to go to my Uncle's place that day so I went, all the time worrying if I had got her number wrong (I get like that at times). Just as I'm about to leave I decide to text her but she beats me to it and says it's to check if she has the right number. Me and her spoke until 11pm at night that night.

That's the story of how we met, maybe someday I'll tell ya how we got together. :D
